3 Months of Job Security

So after long hours, nay, weeks of diliberating, I have decided to spend next summer with ConocoPhillips. I have an incredible peace about the whole thing - I know I have made the right choice. So as the rejection letters begin to pour in (and they will - I interviewed with 20 companies and have heard back from maybe 10) I have a sense of security in knowing that my value as a human being does not reside in the fact that I have an internship. Of course I knew that before, but now everyone else around me can relax in that assurance as well. This decision was really down to the wire and I would like to thank each one of you who was anywhere in my vacinity when I was a snarling, indecisive monster. Fair-weather friends, you are not and I laud you for your courage.
