THE BIG SWITCHEROO

So I did it. I switched to Apple. This past weekend I purchased an Apple iBook G4 laptop. I could not be happier. Everything is so easy, fast, user-friendly and clean looking. I do not think that I have ever gone this long using any computer without messing it up or crashing it. If it has buttons, I will break it... story of my life. But I am confident in this machine. I have yet to see what lies in the road ahead, but this little wonder will be with me for a while.

Now I feel as though I am a part of an underground secret society. Mac users are a different breed... a bit subversive, sticking it to The Man whenever possible. I like that, and I like my new laptop. I'm not sure that I will continue to interface with humans much longer... I have found I can do almost everything from my new computer. No, that's not true, but this little, expensive white box does make life a whole lot simpler.

I'm glad you've come open with your new toy...I'm jealous. Only a little though.

you remind me of my cooperative teacher. the whole moore public school district has gone to dell, and the tech support told him that they would not work on the macs anymore and that they can't be on the network. yet he still keeps them running in his room, and plans to hide them at the end of the year so the techies won't toss them. are you sure you're ready to pay the price for user friendliness?

what "price"? that's a ridiculous statement.
