1994
I was listening to some of my favorite music the other day and I made a wild discovery. Almost ALL of my favorite albums are from 1994! During that fabulous year, Kate turned 12 years old, entered the sixth grade and began to enjoy music that her parents did not. It was a momentous time in my life and apparently left a mark on my tastes for all time. Here is a run-down of the reasons why, in no particular order, I will cast my vote for 1994 as the best year in rock...

So I know everyone out there is convinced of two things now...
1.) Kate likes to rock out hard core
2.) 1994 was the greatest year in rock history!

I love all those too! That's when I started developing musical taste on my own, and not just listening to Bon Jovi or Def Leppard b/c my sisters did (even though they were pretty great too!)
Weezer's Second Album: Pinkerton was so much better than blue. Pick that year as one of the best. So many of those songs were phenomenal works of art.
I wanna go back and I don't even know how I got off the track...
